You may have to boot with the adapter plugged in, especially in a USB 2 port.

No it's using the built into the motherboard adapter and not the plugged in ASUS Broadcom
I only have USB 3 ports.

Its seeing the adapter but not seeing it as bluetooth. Can you disable onboard bluetooth and restart. I know I can plugin both my bluetooth adapters and it only sees the first one only.

Thing is I cannot disable bluetooth in the bios. I can disable wifi but haven't seen bluetooth.

Not that I know of, I have to unplug one of mine to get the other to work
