You need to rebuild the prelinkedkernel before booting with the kernel.

@Shanee one question , when @Bronya drop new kernel for 10.13.3 ? He leave us for good? or make some break. His kernel build was almost perfect for my setup (FX, NVIDIA). Even u new kernel can't be compared in performance. Sorry but ... it's true. So i'm asking u , maybe u know something about that. Cuz i'm still waiting.

@sajmonella9, Not sure in all honesty. I've messaged him and he's not replied. He saw the message though.

Shanee's 10.13.3 kernel is solid. He's given us more functionality in general. Still a few small issues on my system e.g. SATA drives can't be hot plugged despite BIOS setting, screen occasionally freezes for a few seconds at times, BT sometimes non-functional. These are just usual issues that can be kernal/kext related or perhaps motherboard. Great work Shanee! Also looking forward to Bronya's newest kernel.

Can anyone nicely tell me it's possible to transfer intel based 10.13.3 to AMD Ryzen 1700+ but without fresh install by using this kernel_update script? My current system is Clover, Intel i5 6600k, Asrock Z170, GTX970. upgrade system is AMD Ryzen 1700+, AsRock X370, GTX970. many thanks
Edit:
As I understand two steps I can take to perform transferring: 1 execute pre-install script; 2 execute post-install script. Is it right? I've downloaded Shaneee's HighSierraAMD V2 but didn't find two scripts. I am used to ues MacOS to create bootable USB disk. Must I use transmac in Win10 to create? I'm not sure what's the HighSierraAMD V2 version. Is it 10.13.3? Thanks again

It's been done successfully. Search for this title:

[SUCCESS] SIERRA 10.12.6 ON AMD THREADRIPPER 1950X

The user installed OSX on an i3 first, then modded the install for an AMD.

It's currently not possible on Phenom due to lack of the SSE4.1 CPU Instruction.
