I'm stuck on this screen, tried hotswaping but no USB port would work. I'm on a Ryzen 5 1600, GTX 1080, ASRock AB350 Pro4. It then kernel panics.

It gets stuck on this:

I let one install run overnight but all it did was reboot and nothing happened. It didn't install Sierra on the drive. I tried to boot Sierra from clover off the USB, but it just rebooted and didn't do anything.

Did you do the postinstall? Without a kernel it will reboot.

I have this problem also. Solve it by burning the installer to HDD and put it in sata port (usb to sata won't work). Now i can go to installer screen.

Buuutt.... it seems the root problem is USB port not recognized by the installer, so when i get to the installer screen can't use anything, even my ps2 keyboard.

@diontoradan,

I had issues regarding the USB ports, too. I tried recovering the installer image to my HDD but ended up the same way as you, without USB support for mouse and keyboard. What it solved for me was:

1. Restore the Installer to your flash drive
2. I put GenericUSBXHCI.kext on the flash drive (as me if you don't know the path, i'd have to check myself) -> bootet without a problem

You need to put it in EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.12

Hello, I got the same problem, I tried the "GenericUSBXHCI.kext" method but I couldn't find the EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.12 path so I used the Postinstall/ Files/Cloverfiles/Clover/Kexts/10.12 path, and it didn't work. Its my first hackintosh, and I'm pretty new to coding and programming in general.
The download for the alternative files has been removed, so I'm kind of stuck.
Help would be much appreciated.
