Thank you for this guide, Shaneee! It looks a lot simpler than the previous ones.

I am trying it now, but I hit a snag on the Disk Utility part - I have split my Samsung 970 Evo with Windows and MacOS partitions and I have been previously somewhat successful with installing High sierra on the MacOS partition. However now I get "You may not install this volume because the computer is missing a firmware partition". I've deleted and recreated it and erased it several times, both in APFS and HFS Journaled with no luck.

The system is Dell Inspiron 27" with Ryzen 7 1700; B350; 16GB RAM; RX580 8GB, only the drive is swapped with the Samsung, as the original was not recognised at all by MacOS installer. I know such systems are limited in terms of BIOS customisation but I have previously attempted install of both HighSierraV2 and V3BETA , as well as following the guide by Hackintosher, and albeit I had issues they were definitely not with the partitions, as the initial MacOS setup of all 3 installs went without problems, on the same partition setup.

Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hey there,

I do have the same kinda config as yours,I pretty concerned about the graphics card.
(Acer KG241Q+Ryzen7 2700X+Rx 580+X470+CorsairVengeanceLPX-DDR4-16GB+SamsungEvo860-256GB)
I am installing it for the first time and once I want to boot with Hard drive, it goes on to black screen.
Did you do anything for your Radeon card? If yes, how did you install Lilu+whatevergreen ?

Any help is appreciated.

germano wrote:Hi Shaneee,
thanks to your guide I managed to install Mojave 10.14.1 on my AMD ryzen 7 1800X and AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100. But I have some problems:
1) Safari does not open preferences stops the program
2) I can not install photoshop cc 2019, or at least install it but when it opens it tells me unexpected closure. I also tried with Photoshop 2018, same problem ... also illustrator and in design same thing. I installed Final Cut Pro without problems.
can you help me?

Download GenericUSBXHCI and add it to the Clover > other kext folder in the EFI. You can do this with Windows Explorer.
Code: Select all

It seems in the server transfer the CLOVER archive was damaged. I'll get a copy reuploaded soon. I'm currently on my way to work.

File updated.
