I updated my system to OC103 with whatever kexts were new, but I got black screens after returning from screensaver activity or monitor idle. It happened three times on the night I updated. Could still interact with system (no issues there) and all the icons et cetera were present but just the wallpaper and menu bar were black. When I looked at System Settings to restore the wallpaper is would not show a preview.
I reverted to Whatevergreen 1.6.8 and the issue is gone. Anyone else notice this? Maybe it's my particular videocard - not the newest but not ancient either.
edit An earlier issue I posted about (also graphical weirdness) was solved with redoing my patches and the usb mapping. All is stable and reliable now. Only this issue crept up with updating my system yesterday.
