(I have a Ryzen 7 2700x) I was installing ventura when I got the text on screen "start::512:Successfully initialized AHCI controller" and a couple of seconds later I got this crashed screen (ATTACHED). Could anyone help me fix it?
The final line of text says “Still waiting for root device”. This is a common error when the USB port you have the installation USB plugged in to gets dropped, when control is passed from the bios to the installer.
You need to change the USB port you are using to one that isn’t dropped.
You may need to undertake a few tests to work out which port stays connected when the bios to OS installer handover occurs.
