I downloaded the image from AStore and it was updated without any problem

In my case, still having troubles. Succeed to update from 14.3 to 14.4.1 by disabling SecureBootModel, but the same trick does not work for 14.5... Gonna try re-downloading Sonoma app and disabling the only BT kext I have (no WiFi hardware, Ethernet en0) Didn't work. I guess the thing that might have broken the update is VirtualBox 6.1.x, which I installed with SIP partially disabled, but before trying to update I re-enabled SIP and reseted NVRAM...
