Timemachine backup to NAS fails on both 15.0 and 15.0.1, to have it completed without network disconnections errors you will have to disable firewall from network preferences.

The info above is partially correct, there's indeed a problem with Sequoia and Samba protocol as you can read on the net, but seems it's not directly related to firewall,
in fact even with the firewall disabled I could only randomly complete just a couple of backups with Time Machine.

Seems the problem has been solved since 15.1 update
