Hi, just finished the installation on my new PC.

Everything works except the Time zone and my location, can't change or update it. Location service is enabled, but still only U.S. Timezones (I'm in EU).
Board: Asus Prime x670-P (only Ethernet, no WiFi)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
GC: RX6600
64 GB DDR 5 Ram

Also, can't change the CPU Name, added in config.plist revcpuname and have the restrict events.kext installed, but nothing changed.

Any idea to get my Location working? It's enabled, but doesn't work.

Do you get any errors? Is your LAN working and set as en0?

How do you know it's not working though? Does Apple Maps show the correct location?

Just did a complete reinstall and got the same result. When the settings in installer comes in there is no time zone option available. Never had this problem before.

Yeah I've never seen this happen. Where did you get the installer from? I mean it's entirely possible that it's a corrupted install but normally it wouldn't install if that was the case. For the reinstall did you use the same image?

I’ve used the same. I made the installer on my other hackintosh, straight from the app store.

Try a reinstall from the recovery of your current boot drive not with the USB.
