Hi guys, this is my first post and I'm a Mauser since 1990... now, I'm building my first threadripper:
  • 3975 -> 32cores / 64t
  • Gigabyte WRX80 (8 channels)
  • RTX3090 rog strix
  • 4x32Gb DDR4 fury beast ram sticks (8 available)
______________
I was wonder if my configuration is suitable to install natively macOS Big Sur (I'm afraid that 3090 is not supported by Monterey).
I've also seen some tests with MacOs on a virtual machine, but since I'm involved in heavy 3d graphic development (C4D, Corona and Unreal Engine) this may cause inefficiency.
Please feel free to give me any advice / tutorial on how to start.

PS: I'm trying to dismantle a MacPro 3.1 where to fit all the hardware... any renown problem about this idea?

TRX40 Threadripper are proven to work, though didn't see any successful bare metal builds using WRX80 Threadripper Pro yet
