Hi guys, I've created a 32GB usb drive so I can boot the installer from. Now it stalls and shows me this (see attached photo, sorry, camera is broken)
I am running Sequoia. I also attached the EFI.

Couple of things the you need to be aware of when installing Tahoe.

You need to recreate your USBPorts.kext using one of the two methods:
  1. Corpnewt's latest UBMap script, should be a simple exercise as you already have the ports defined in your current kext.
  2. Follow the guide linked below, it is hosted over at Tonymacx86, for converting the USBPorts.kext.

Also you may need to disable WhateverGreen.kext during the installation of macOS Tahoe, as it is known to throw up some issues during the installation phase.

Not sure if you also need to disable the agdpmod=pikera boot argument.

You also need to be using the latest release of the AMD Kernel Patches, as they include increments to the MaxKernel for Tahoe.

You need to edit your boot arguments.

-v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 -lilubetaall agdpmod=pikera revpatch=cpuname,diskread,sbvmm,pci,amfi=0x80

You don't need -lilubetaall, as Lilu and its dependant kexts have been updated to work with Tahoe.

amfi=0x80 isn't a boot argument that should be used with revpatch=.

It is a separate boot argument, which has been superseded by AMFIPass.kext v1.4.1 or newer. Which you should add to your /EFI/OC/Kexts folder and config.plist in place of the obsolete boot argument.

AMFIPass.kext v1.4.1 is the first kext in the list on the page linked above.

Ok, I'm Port Mapping now. After that, I opened the USBMapInjectorEdit.command and dragged the USBMapDummy.kext into it and it says this (see attached screenshot).

Select option 'C' and return to other menu.

You don't need to mess with the IOKitPersonalities. As you don't have a system that is running macOS Mojave or older. You only need the kext using the AppleUSBHostMergeProperties.

Okido.
