[SOLVED] EFI works on macOS Sequoia but not Tahoe

Hi all,

I need some help troubleshooting my EFI setup. The attached EFI works perfectly with macOS Sequoia, but it fails with Tahoe.

I already recreated the USB kext using USBToolBox, but the system still hangs at

and a few seconds later it stops at



Could someone check what I might be missing in my EFI?

Using USBToolBox to fix the Tahoe USB issues won't work. As it doesn't include the new entries required for Tahoe.

You would be better served using the latest release of Corpnewt's USBMap.kext in macOS to create the new USB kext.

Also your current UTBMap.kext contains 20 x USB ports, when it should only contain 15 x ports, seeing as this is an Intel system with a single USB controller.

I recreated the USBMap.kext as per the shared guide but still stuck at below , allow attached the new EFI. can you please check.

I followed EdHawk's guide (https://forum.amd-osx.com/threads/clean-install-tahoe-asus-tuf-strix-x570-f-gaming.6134/) and used the EFI only kexts (NootRX) from there, along with my existing config.plist (boot unfairgva=6) and my custom USBMap.kext and Tahoe installed without issues.

It looks like WEG is causing the problem for me at the moment.
