Hello everyone, I have installed the Broadcom 94360 card on the motherboard. The USB stick ASUS UB400 works in Sonoma 14.6.1 but I can't get either of them to work in Seqouia. I have an error somewhere or it just doesn't work yet...but I don't want to believe it. Could one of the professionals here take care of the matter.

I have the same problem with my DW1560. Wifi works with oclp patch, but bluetooth does not. In Sonoma everything works perfect.

I still can't get it to work.
BlueToolFixup, BrcmFirmwareData and BrcmPatchRAM3 from the latest commit, bluetoothInternalControllerInfo and bluetoothExternalDongleFailed args in NVRAM - no joy :(

The Bluetooth modules from native Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT cards don't require any additional kexts in macOS Sonoma or Sequoia. The Bluetooth module should work without any patches, kexts or fixes. This is the case on the 6 x Hacks I have that use native Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT cards, i.e. mounted on PCIe x1 adapter in PCIe slot on motherboard with USB cable connecting adapter to USB2 header port on the motherboard.

PCIe WiFi adapter.jpg Example PCIe x1 adapter form Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT card. These can come with 2, 3 or 4 x antenna depending on the Apple card to be used.

The Bluetooth module from one of these cards should show as highlighted below, or similar.

In each case when using one of these cards you must connect the short USB cable between the adapter and a spare motherboard USB2 header, for the Bluetooth to work. You must also make sure that the port ascribed to the Bluetooth module is correctly configured in your USBMap.kext or UTBMap.kext.

If you have the Bluetooth module showing as in the screenshot from post #1, then the Bluetooth module won't work in macOS.

Screenshot 2025-01-04 at 20.00.35.png Wrong Device Name indicates failure/misconfiguration of Apple Bluetooth module.

Likely causes:
  1. No USB ports configuration.
  2. Incorrectly configured USB ports, i.e. internal port serving the Bluetooth module is not set as 'Internal (255).
  3. Incorrect Bluetooth firmware loading to module.

Yepp. In my case it was an incorrect USB Portmap. It was working though before updating to 15.x
Anyway, with the corrected portmap the BT is working without any kexts or NVRAM entries, as it should.
Thanks for the hints!
