The Bluetooth modules from native Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT cards don't require any additional kexts in macOS Sonoma or Sequoia. The Bluetooth module should work without any patches, kexts or fixes. This is the case on the 6 x Hacks I have that use native Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT cards, i.e. mounted on PCIe x1 adapter in PCIe slot on motherboard with USB cable connecting adapter to USB2 header port on the motherboard.
Example PCIe x1 adapter form Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT card. These can come with 2, 3 or 4 x antenna depending on the Apple card to be used.
Examples of Native Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT cards.
4 x different BCM4360xxx Native Apple cards.
The Bluetooth module from one of these cards should show as highlighted below, or similar.
Hackintool > System > Peripherals tab, Bluetooth module from BCM4360CS highlighted.
In each case when using one of these cards you must connect the short USB cable between the adapter and a spare motherboard USB2 header, for the Bluetooth to work. You must also make sure that the port ascribed to the Bluetooth module is correctly configured in your USBMap.kext or UTBMap.kext.
If you have the Bluetooth module showing as in the screenshot from post #1, then the Bluetooth module won't work in macOS.
Wrong Device Name indicates failure/misconfiguration of Apple Bluetooth module.
Likely causes:
- No USB ports configuration.
- Incorrectly configured USB ports, i.e. internal port serving the Bluetooth module is not set as 'Internal (255).
- Incorrect Bluetooth firmware loading to module.
