AM4G5 (Naked) started in November 2021 after reading this article,
I thought this would be a good time to create a budget AMD build but using a brand new Ryzen 5000 series processor. It was a choice between Gigabyte or ASUS as they were the only confirmed motherboard manufacturers to have released the 'Unofficial' BIOS update to support Ryzen 5000 series. After some research I chose the A320I-K from ASUS, pretty sure it's the smallest 320 motherboard at 170mm x 170mm, rich feature set and a well thought out, I just wish they stacked an M.2_WIFI slot under the M.2 M key socket like I have on a H110MSTX board.
SPEC
AMD Ryzen 5700X 8-Core Processor (8Cores/16Threads @ 3.4 GHz Single Core 4.7 GHz Multi Core 4.6 GHz)
AMD Wraith Spire
ASUS Prime A320I-K BIOS 6042
Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8 GB
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200
Western Digital Black SN750 500GB M.2 NVMe
EVGA 500 W1 500W Power Supply
Power Mac G5 (Mid 2004)
BIOS
Make sure you have the latest BIOS on your 320 motherboard before installing a Ryzen 5000 series processor. 6024 and 6042 are the official releases, 5862 is the 'unofficial' release from November last year.
SETTINGS
Ai Tweaker > Memory Frequency > DDR4-3200MHz (matches my Corsair Vengeance LPX frequency)
Advanced > SATA Configuration > SATA Mode Selection > AHCI (Default)
Advanced > USB Configuration > XHCI Hand-off > Enabled
Advanced > PCI Subsystem Settings > Above 4G Decoding > Disabled (using the boot-arg npci=0x3000)
Boot > Boot Configuration > Fast Boot > Disabled
Boot > CSM (Compatibility Support Module) > Launch CSM > Enabled (Dortania says disable, I have it enabled)
Boot > CSM (Compatibility Support Module) > Boot Device Control > UEFI only
Boot > Secure Boot > OS Type > Other OS
EFI
