Hello everyone,
Here’s my current setup:
  • Motherboard: Dual PCIe x16 slots (TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI)
  • GPUs: NVIDIA RTX 5080 + AMD RX560
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
  • Bootloader: OpenCore
When booting into macOS via OpenCore, I’d like to completely disable the RTX 5080 — ideally with the fans stopped and power turned off — and use only the RX560 for display output.
The main reason is to reduce power consumption and fan noise while working in macOS, since I only need the RTX 5080 for AI workloads and gaming under Windows.

Is it possible to achieve this setup safely on macOS?
Any method or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. 🙏
