Problems with usb 3.0

Hello everyone..

I have always had some problems with usb in my hackintosh. When I try to connect iphone, ipad or other device they are only recognized if I put them in usb 2.0. If these accessories are connected to usb 3.0 they are not detected. My only option is to use 2.0 for these devices.

Is there a way to get them to work on usb 3.0 ports? I don't know why but USB 3.0 only works for me when I use a flash drive or an external 3.0 HDD.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Have you mapped your USB ports?

If not you need to do so. Follow the AMD path in this guide - https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/usb/#macos-and-the-15-port-limit

If yes, post a copy of your UBBPorts.kext, USBMap.kext or SSDT-UIAC.aml so we can see what you are using.

Apple lighting connector is only a 2.0 device. Doesn't matter if you've got it plugged into a 3.0/3.1 or 3.2 port.
