Which drive (type, make & model) are you using of macOS? As this sounds like an issue with the installation drive you are using for macOS.

I have two drives i bought for the needs of installation. To be frank I don't know the exact model. Do you recommend any specific model for this reason?

do you mean you are instaling from an USB pen to another USB pen?
i think EDhawk asks about your internal drive where you are installing OSX on

I use these USB sticks just to create a bootable installer for macOS The installation is on Toshiba q300 256 GB SSD. I use to had Big Sur installed on it prevoiusly. Ii should be working now.

Hello, it turned out that after replacing the SSD with a Western Digital WD Black 3.5 1TB 7200rpm I do not receive an error message but I get a yellow screen during the installation process. Apparently there are some processes in the background and the mouse appears from time to time. Do you have any idea why this happens? I am attaching a photo and a video.

The Grey coloured screen in the first image is normal.

The two lime green/yellow screen images aren’t normal. These have me wondering how you have the screen connected to the hack, I.e. which cable you are using DP/HDMI or DVI? You aren’t using a display adapter are you?

Yes, it would be normal for activity to be going on in the background when these coloured screens appear.

It is not ideal using a spinning HDD as the macOS boot drive, not since Mojave. As Apple have used NVME SSDs in their systems. The AMD SATA controller may throw you a bit of a curve ball as it will look to format the HDD as APFS, which isn’t meant for use on spinning drives. When I have a spinning drive present in one of my hacks I format it HFS+ GUID, not APFS.

An SSD or NVMe/M.2 drive would be the best option as the macOS drive. Western Digital or SanDisk being the preferred manufacturer, as Apple have used their NVMe controllers in some of their systems.

Most likely the problem is in the SSD. I'm using a spinning HDD because I don't have another one to test with. I was able to install Sequoia in the end, but the installation did not find the network card and PC was very slowly. My monitor uses DP. The problem I am facing is that after copying the EFI to the main drive Mac OS is unable to boot and show yellow screens on boot. Regarding the SSD drives what do you think about Kingston FURY Renegade NVMe/M.2?

Check if algrey/shanee fix pat patches are fine and try to disable whatevergreen kext
Disable also your igpu from bios

Thank you guys.I am so happy :) After so many failed attempts I was able to install my Sequoia successfully. Fabiosun I followed your final advises and now there is no green/yellow screens, but now I am facing o couple of issues I have to to solve:

1. I am using 32GB 5200 MHz DDR5 not 3200 as it written. How can i change this
2. Audio Realtek LC1220 CODEC is not working
3. Lan Realtek® 2.5GbE LAN chip (2.5 Gbps/1 Gbps/100 Mbps) is not working
4. Wireless Communication module Realtek® Wi-Fi 7 RTL8922AE (PCB rev. 1.1) is not working

Please help me to make them working. Thank You!

Post only your latest config.plist

wifi integrated in your gigabyte is not compatibke with osx

from your gigabyte bios memory section you can force your ram to that speed. if your system boots fine and it is stable you see them also in OSX @5200
Post only your latest config.plist
added in your config bootarg alcid=5
if you see it now you can try with different numbers to see if you have more input/output and audio quality

if your audio is USB audio you have to map properly your usb
Post only your latest config.plist
kext used for your ethernet should be the right one (but i do not well if it is compatible with sequoia)

Thank you. I already have sound but not LAN. Do I need any kext for this? These are the specification of my motherboard
try to read here:

Ethernet not working could be because the device id for the LAN controller isn’t present in the kext. There are different variants of the RealTek 2.5Gb LAN controller in some newer motherboards.

As for what I think about the Kingston Fury Renegade NVMe drive, I would say it wasn’t a good choice as a macOS drive. Reason being it uses the Phison E18 controller. It would be fine for Windows or Linux but not one I would consider for macOS.

Really disappointing to hear that. What do you recommend? I can't work withowt a LAN. About the memory I am using 32GB 5200 MHz DDR5 not 3200 as it written. How can i change this?

If Kingston Fury Renegade NVMe drive is not a good choice what do you thing SanDisk Extreme Pro M.2 NVMe 1TB.

about ram i have answered above (only from bios if you have set them in auto
About etherne, before i choosed my x870e board i have researched a bit
Pro art has two supported lan on board one @2.5 via a kext and one @10
My preferred choice was ASUS x870e Hero,,but i was afraid about this because it has some realtek lan and it was not clear in that time it was or not supported
