Looks like I might have to say goodbye to my Sapphire Pulse RX580, I'm kind of sad.

The RX400 & RX500 series AMD GPU's still work in Ventura, just with Metal 2 not Metal 3. You won't miss what you never had before.

Unless you are gaming at a high level, you won't notice any difference while using your RX580. All the Apple graphics work and look the same on my Ventura hack as they do on my Monterey drive in the same system, just Orange instead of Purple! Yes I am using an RX580 in this system.

No I am not a gamer, that would be my son in this house!

Those with an AMD Vega series or newer can use Metal 3. But what real term differences it will bring to using your Hack is probably very limited and in normal operation negligible if at all noticeable.

Thanks, I've been following the discussion over at InsanelyMac, I've been waiting for 'h' to show up in GibMacOS, so I can create a new installer for Beta 3 and my 320 build. Not having much joy upgrading from system preferences or from installer on desktop.

Me neither, update via Software Update preference pane fails each time I try to update to Beta 3. As you said. the full installer will probably fix this issue.
