how? how can we disable this in windows 11? Because if i install vmware tools, mac becomes really slulggish. it works fine without vmware tools. but the issue is without vmware tools its not usable. like copy and paste functions and other screen function do not work properly.
You'll find it in "Windows Security", "Device Security" and "Core Isolation Details".

can you show us the smoothnesss by uploading video somewhere? i dont know why my macos becomes really sluggish when i install vmware tools
Disable memory integrity checks and hyper-v.

Try to place the vmdk file with as many cores as your processor supports.

About it running more smoothly, I was referring to the fact that you use XCode Simulator for those who work with application development, which is possible as long as you're not developing a game.

You need to understand that the Metal API and Quartz Extreme, which enable macOS's graphics acceleration features, are disabled. I've already commented in a previous post that in virtualized macOS running on top of Windows you won't find anywhere a really functional graphics driver for the virtual machine you're using.

Unfortunately no company or team has done this due to the difficulty I imagine and so it would have to be financially worthwhile. But it's not.

You'll have a functional virtualized macOS for countless tasks that don't depend on graphics performance.

If you need something more efficient in this sense, then you'll need to create a real Hackintosh instead of a virtualized one.

Perfect. I turned these things off and my macOs is working perfect. no more graphical work, just the codings etc. i will wait for the hackintosh tutorial from you master :)

I am running macOS Sonoma on VMware with an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 4650g and I get past the install screen I erased the Drive and reformat it. I install macOS Sonoma and about 2/3 away through the install bar it lags for about 10 minutes and then the entire thing reboots how do I fix this and get macOS Sonoma to run?

Appreciate the hard work! I was able to get Sequoia 15.0 installed on Lenovo Ryzen 7840HS and RTX 4050 setup using the 8core OpenCore option set VMware to 8cores and 16GB RAM. Downloaded and installed VMware Tools Darwin ISO and able to get 1080p resolution on full screen display. Obviously still have the VMware 128MB display limitation. But still can't get Sequoia wallpaper to display, tried uncheck screen saver and got Sonoma wallpaper to work, tried creating a 2nd new desktop and still just white background with Sequoia wallpaper. If anyone has found a fix please let me know.

You won't be able to activate dynamic wallpaper because the Metal and Quartz Extreme graphics features are not active and there are no drivers for this in VMWare or any other virtualized macOS on Windows.

You can choose from the list of “image” wallpapers or any other customized wallpaper.

I just updated my working 14.7 Sonoma to 15.0 Sequioa.
It worked fine until I discovered, that I am not able to login using my Apple-ID (unknown user or password).
Did I miss something or is there a patch, that brings back the functionality?

was also trying to update from Sonoma to Sequoia but update process hangs on restart showing apple with progress bar. Any solution ?

in the meantime i was able to update by using 8 core OpenCore with 16GB RAM instead of 4 core with 8GB RAM before.

In the tests I've done here, if you install Sonoma, do Apple Login, and then update within pro macOS to Sequoia, Apple Login stays working.

But if you install the Sequoia ISO directly then it won't work.

This information was updated in the tutorial as soon as the first beta versions of Sequoia appeared.

I've done a lot of research on this and it seems that Apple has blocked this when macOS is running on virtualized systems with a system other than macOS itself as the host (in this case Windows).

as per the previous answer there is currently no solution unless you first install Sonome and update to Sequoia.

This procedure is working here.
