Hello, I would like to present a problem I encountered while trying to install macOS (Hackintosh) on my Lenovo Legion 5 15ach6h laptop. The device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. The issue I’m currently facing is that the system gets stuck at a black screen after executing the installation commands, and the usual options such as Disk Utility or macOS Recovery do not appear.

I will provide all the necessary technical details to help you fully understand the problem, and I kindly request your assistance in finding a solution.

Steps Taken So Far

  1. Preparing the Installation File:
  2. Setting Up the EFI Folder:
    • I attached my full EFI folder, which contains all the necessary modifications to support my hardware.
    • I also attempted to install Sequoia 15 using OpenCore with the following command:

      python3 ./macrecovery.py -b Mac-937A206F2EE63C01 -m 00000000000000000 download

  3. Executing the Installation Process:
    • After preparing the USB drive and EFI folder, I entered the BIOS and enabled UEFI Boot while disabling Secure Boot .
    • Upon booting the system with the USB drive, a black terminal-like screen appeared where I executed the necessary commands to start the installation process.
    • The problem began after the commands finished executing, as the system got stuck on a black screen. It was expected that the options for Disk Utility , macOS Installer , and others would appear, but they did not.

Detailed Description of the Problem

  • The Black Screen: After the commands were executed, the system remains stuck on a black screen without any error messages or available options.
  • Missing Expected Options: The menu containing Disk Utility , macOS Installer , and other options does not appear at all.
  • Previous Attempts to Solve the Problem:
    • I verified the integrity of the installation file and confirmed it was correctly flashed onto the USB drive.
    • I updated the EFI folder multiple times to ensure compatibility with my hardware.
    • I tried different versions of OpenCore, but the issue persisted.
