Good evening,

After Big Sure on a crosshair 6 Hero and 1700x + Rx480 I tried to upgrade from my old system to the Strix B550I and Ryzen 5600g with an MSI Rx480.

After following the Dortania Guid with OC 1.0.2 I ended up with the attached EFI files for 15.1.1.

The problem I run into is that the installer files crash at various stages of boot where I do not really know what to do.

For the vfs_Xattar: Doubleagentd port not valid and Deferred rematching count 2 I could not find any information on what can cause it or how it can be overcome.

I hope my text was understandable.

Thanks a lot!

Short Update, i forgott to extract the Zip AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext and made the wrong entrie in config.plst for the kext.

Now the installer starts but stops at about 12min left for the installing.

Edit2: After 20min stuck at 12min it rebooted and continued the installation. Now at 27min.

So, apperantly the config was (Kernal Patch) was compleatly outdated. Changed thats, added the some additional Kext and a missing SSDT, updated every kext and the System Boots till number of thread used for work queue 3.

So waiting for OC 1.0.3^^

if Someone“s interessted hier is my current EFI Folder (Whatevergreen is disabled as a Tipp on DC).

Installed is MacOS 15.1.1 on an 860 EVO 500GB

Try using this EFI. I have only updated it and made a minimal change in the Config.plist. By the way, the installation takes a very long time, and you need to be patient. Unfortunately, I also belong to the type of people who are very impatient, but with macOS Sequoia, I had to hit the brakes as well. I don't see anything unusual in the pictures. Please test it and let me know.
