Can anyone recommend a 10GB ethernet card that is compatible with hackintosh? I am currently on the latest version of Sonoma. I would like it to be PCI and not USB.
In addition to Intel 500 series, with Mieze's kext, and Aquantia 107/113 with CaseySJ's patches, you can use Chelsio T520 cards or Solarflare SFN5122F / SFN6122F cards (but not the "newer" PCIe 3.0 7122F) with the kext driver from the manufacturer (Catalina package still available from Chelsio, Solarflare driver archived here). These are old but good server cards, and are available at low (<$50) prices en eBay. The Chelsio driver also works with T6 cards such as the T6225; this may be the only kext solution for 25 Gb/s with a Ryzentosh.
Signing certificates for the drivers have long expired, so it's best to put the kext in the EFI folder rather than installing from macOS.
Mind that all these cards expect some cooling airflow (PCIe 2.0 Solarflare 5000/6000 are the lowest power options in the lot).
Intel users with VT-d enabled can use Intel X500, IntelX710, and Mellanox ConnectX-4/5/6 NICs "out of the box" thanks to Driver Kit, but this is not available to AMD hacks.
