Hello, finally I can boot sequoia with my new hardware.
I have some small bugs what I want to solve if its possible:

*Graphics glitches on start:
When I boot sequoia there are some graphics glitches on widgets or icons of the dock; If I hide the dock or modify the widget the problem is solved. and only appears to happen on starts, I attach some pictures of the problem.

*AMD Power Gadget:
Show incorrect freq of my processor, shows 12ghz for example, instead of 4,7ghz

*Built-in WIFI & bluetooth:
Already have working Built-in LAN network with:
IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext
but I want to know if I can make works the wifi & bluetooth

*No updates availables
Im with sequoia 15.3.2 and not showing new updates.
I dont do a fresh install of sequoia, I replaced my old motherboard, processor and RAM. I just updated my EFI and booted again. maybe can cause troubles?

I attach my EFI too

What WiFi / BT chip do you have? IO80211FamilyLegacy shouldn't be required for LAN to work, at least not that I'm aware of.

I see you've got your config setup for OCLP modern WiFi, Possibly why you've got IO80211FamilyLegacy so if it's broadcom you've got download OCLP and run that to restore WiFi. For BT if it is indeed Broadcom I've added the required kexts/settings in the config.

I've removed the ncpi=0x3000 boot arg, please enable Above 4G Decoding in your BIOS, you can enable Resizable Bar too.

The CPU frequency being wrong could just be an incompatibility with 9000 series CPUs. Create a ticket on the GitHub for it.

As for the GPU gltiches. I've swapped your PAT patches around which might help. Failing that you can add these settings to your Device Properties. I use these on my 6800 without the need for WhateverGreen.

Hello Shaneee, thanks for your help.
so, I do:

-updated the boot-args without ncpi. and enabled 4g decoding & resizable bar, working fine

-I tried the swapped pat patches but still the same isue of the pictures, so I need to test the device properties. I need to disable WhateverGreen when im adding the settings?

my wifi chip: Mediatek Wifi 7 MT7925
my bluetoth: on windows not working so im not sure what its, but I read its the same as the wifi, its a mediatek.
I added the 3 kext you share but looks nothing changed.

you have some idea what I can try to update to sequoia 15.6?, or I need to do a standalone install. the updates are not showing up on mac os settings.
I tried with the boot-args: revpath=sbvmm but not lucky

The Mediatek Wifi 7 MT7925 WiFi/BT card won't work in macOS, as it and most other Mediatek WiFi cards are incompatible with macOS. No matter which kexts you use.

You need to swap it for a compatible Broadcom or Intel WiFi/BT card.

A Native Apple Broadcom WiFi/BT card would be the best option but requires the use of OpenCore Legacy Patcher to get the WiFi working in Sonoma and newer versions of macOS.

Thanks Redhawk.
Its not relevant for me the wifi & Bluetooth. I prefer the wired network.
My biggest problem for now its not getting updates of the system.
I downloaded from app store the sequoia installer. I run the install but looks like it fails, reboots on install.
Now in open core I have a entry 'mac os installer' and idk how to delete it. In my config.plist there is no entry about it, so I'm not sure why is showing up in the booter

Selecting the ‘macOS installer’ icon on the OpenCore boot screen will continue the update you started. You need to select the icon, not delete it.

yes I do that two times, but look likes fails and reboot.
after that I booted my system but instead of start, do someting similar to a install ( black screen with apple log & a bar progress), but when it ended nothing changed.
and the terminal says restored session or something similar.
I want to delete the install entry now because its not working.
Sorry for my lack of precision in the explanation.
I will try to repeat the install later.

You need to select the ‘macOS install’ icon a few times, until it doesn’t show. Then select the macOS icon as normal.

The screen going black and the progress bar terminating before it reaches the end, is also something that is expected.

tested again, I tried the install entry about 10 times but always reboot at the same point of the progress bar.
this is the debug from the install.

okay to not left the thread unsolved I update it.
I solved my two problems time ago.
*the problem with the install fail (reboot on install process), was what I have the ResizeGpuBars = 1 in the UEFI>quirks
I have it setted to 0 in booter>misc
so this way I booted without problems my installed OSX but when I try to update or a fresh install. it fails because the 1 in UEFI. solved setting the two places to 0

*the other problem (the graphics glitches) solved byself when I updated to the last sequoia version.

I only have one left problem, not with osx. but with linux, the ssdt-plug-alt.aml breaks the cpu pstates on linux booting from opencore. Im looking a way to boot my distro from opencore.
