I'm stuck with installation of Sequioa on my desktop pc.
Starts ok, then I get a lot of vm_shared_region_start_address() failed messages, then it stops and never continues.
In attach is my EFI folder and pic of position where it stops.
Any help is appriciated.
I’m stupid, I have 2 gpus. My monitor is connected to nvidia card. I forgot to swap cable to Amd gpu. Now I see installation going further.
I’ll post results when I’m finished.
If you want to use a Broadcom WiFi/BT card (Fenvi or other) in Sonoma or Sequoia you need to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher, version 2.0.2. Plus the following kexts and config.plist entries:
Thanks for tips, I'll do that also.
For now I can only boot into Sequoia using USB.
I tried to do what is said here: Moving OpenCore from USB to macOS Drive Grabbing OpenCore off the USB
But when I run MountEFI I can't mound EFI partition from my MacintoshHD, it says no EFI partition.
Also I put spoof for my AMD GPU from my last config where I used this gpu, but it doesn't seem to work.
Just for the record, the problem was again me messing up installation. I didn't partition corectly ssd first time.
I reinstanlled, now my ssd with mac os is bootable.
I have RX 550 (LEXA PRO), but can't get HW support.
I spoofed it, and put it into config but it doesn't get recognized.
Anyone has this card working in Sequoia?
Update, sound is working with AppleALC 1.9.3 layout id 12.
Fenvi T919 wifi and bluetooth working with OpenCore legacy patcher
Still problem with RX 550
