hey everyone,

trying to get tahoe running but having a few headaches.

hardware:
Ryzen 5 7600 (igpu disabled)
rx 6600 xt
tuf gaming a620-m plus wifi
32gb ddr5

issues:
  1. ethernet: not working. kext logs say "unsupported chip" (using LucyRTL8125Ethernet).
  2. gpu kexts: WhateverGreen refuses to boot (hangs with or without -v). tried NootRX instead but it says "unsupported video card". not sure if critical for install but mentioning it anyway.
  3. SMCAMDProcessor: causes instant kernel panic so i removed it for now.
current kexts:
  • AMFIPass.kext
  • AppleALC.kext
  • AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext
  • Lilu.kext
  • LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext
  • RestrictEvents.kext
  • USBToolBox.kext
  • UTBMap.kext
  • VirtualSMC.kext
  • NVMeFix.kext
any ideas on how to fix the lan or get past the freeze?

the recovery menu itself starts

thanks.

Where did you get the unsupported information mentioned above? If you use OpCore Simplify, read carefully all information shown on the screen, and do not change anything in the EFI unless you have thought about the action beforehand.
