Hi,
Can anyone say if it possible to install Mac OSX Sequoia on my build.
I have Asus B650-e Motherboard with Rayzen 9 7950x3D CPU with built in Radeon graphics. 16gb memory.

I have always used Intel in the past and I can get my usb to boot on my old intel PC but I can not get it boot from ADM system. I have followed all the steps for Opencore to create the boot loader with all the latest patches for AMD. But the system reboots after start. I have attached system log file and my EFI folder on USB. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's possible but unfortunately Dortania's guide is incomplete when it comes to X650/ B650 motherboards and AM5 processors. iGPU's are not supported so you'd want to purchase a supported AMD Graphics card to continue. Beyond that your EFI is missing key ACPI files and MmioWhitelist entires under the Booter section of the config.plist. You can look at the attached for comparison, not intended for you to use as is, and/or search the Success Stories here for other users EFI folders for reference. Also note your Resources Folder within your EFI is in the wrong location, it's not needed to boot but if you want a GUI boot interface you'd want to change it.

many thanks for you help. any recommendation on which GPU to buy (preferably not too expense) I am not a gamer so don't need a powerful gpu. Meanwhile I will keep reading. I have Nvidia GT710 which I used in my Intel based Osx, which is still working with opencor patcher. I tried using this GPU in my AMD system but I had the same problem with system rebooting, should this have worked?, even just to install?
thanks

The link below discusses GPU compatibly, I don't know your budget but RX 580 would be the minimum card I'd recommend. That Nvidia card you have if pretty uninspiring, it might continue to work with OCLP but with the state of your EFI folder its not going to.

Thank you I will look for another GPU and see how I go.
Ps I was able to install Sequoia on my intel pc without any problems and gt710 worked fine with opencore patcher.

Hi, am back. I got Radeon rx6600 GPU and got bit further. I have created an install SSD as usb was taking miles too long to load.
Now when I try to install it seems to freeze when it says "about 12 mins remaining "
This also happend with usb as well. Any idea what to check? I will upload info as you request.
Thanks

Could be an issue with the macOS installation app. This is more common than you might think.

Try the following:
  1. Delete the current Sequoia macOS installation app you have.
  2. Erase the USB or SSD installation drive.
  3. Download a new copy of the Sequoia installation app to your other hack or Mac.
    1. I use Corpnewt's gibMacOS script to download the installer directly from Apple's server.
    2. https://github.com/corpnewt/gibMacOS
  4. Recreate the macOS Sequoia Installer on the USB or SSD.
  5. Add the EFI folder to the EFI partition on your new macOS installation drive.
Try installing Sequoia with the new drive.

@fabiosun yes secure boot is disabled

I did exactly what @Edhawk said and recreated my install media again. first it booted ok but the install hanged aging at 12 minutes remain. Then I cleared the Nvram, since then I can not get it to boot, it just stops loading to installer.
The SDST in my EFI folder is not for my board but without it cannot get further then "Start init PCI services"
I have uploaded my Boards DSDT which I dumped, but when I use this instead of DSDT-X670E-TUF-WIFI-patched.aml it stops at "Start init PCI services". not sure what is the differences. I have tried putting my GUP details in config file but not sure if I have done it right or if I really need them under Boot option.
I am stuck now and not sure what else to try. Hope fully some one can help me.
Thanks

After using the ResetNvram option did you go back in to your Bios and check that nothing had been reset/changed, such as the boot order?

yes I did , I did a reset of bios and disable secure boot again, only change I made before when it started to installer interface
thanks

Finally got it to boot to installer . Its very weird, some times it boot to installer and other times the screen goes blank with no signal. I try many times for it to boot to installer .
Even after all this it still gets stuck at 12 minutes remaining, it just freezes.
I have been using Intel for over 20 years and have updated every time new osx version came out. This is my first attempt at AMD system, but not getting very far.
Any idea why it would stop at exactly same place, with 12min remaining? Also why it boots ok sometimes and not other? I personally think I have not setup my graphics card properly or I need modified DSDT.
Thanks for your help.

I asked for ACPI patches on AMD OSX discord server for your board based on the dsdt you posted before

sorry forgot to upload latest EFI and log file.
this EFI is done for user using OCLP (for wifi broadcom) it is not appropriate for a clean instal
when corpnewt will do acpi patches for your board i will try to produce a clean EFI to use if you like
part useful to modify are:

1) acpi patches
2) MMIO as previous screenshot (left part of screenshot is as it should be)
3)kext section (add/block)

patches 20 and 21 not useful for you (@Shaneee could be possible to put on AMD OSX kernel patches github both disabled because they are not useful for AMD desktop users at all)

Patches 24 and 25 (use only one)

then you have a spoof for gpu but it shouldnt be useful for your RX 6600

These are ACPI patches done by CorpNewt for your board
use only this one and avoid to use patched dsdt done for other motherboard
and follow also previous reccomendation/advice..first of all about MMIO
