Hi,
I'v set up a Mac Sonoma VM following this guide (host is Lenovo L14 Gen 5 AMD, running Win11).
Everything is working ok except I can't get sound going in the VM.
I've already started asking about it in that thread but I figured I rather start a new one for it (as it seems a specific issue).

So here's the continuation from that other thread.
Current situation: no sound in the VM

what Hackintool says:

- VMware provided (virtual) soundcard, this should passthrough the sound from my host laptop but doesn't

- my USB soundcard:

quote from the other thread:
You would need AppleALC.kext for the Realtek audio codec to have any chance of the built-in audio working.

I believe I have already, according to this, no?

So I'm stumped at this point.
Any help aprreciated.
