I'm curious if I'm able to install OS X with my current setup? All info from Speccy.

You are restricted to installing macOS High Sierra, as your Nvidia GPU lacks support in any newer versions of macOS. The GTX 1070 requires the Nvidia Web Drivers to work in macOS.

Follow the standard OpenCore guide and then the Ryzen config.plist guide, include changes necessary for booting with Nvidia GPU.



Once macOS HS is installed download and install any HS Security updates from Apple. So you are running the latest version of High Sierra.

Once you have the latest version of macOS installed. Download and install the latest version of the Nvidia Web Drivers. There was an issue earlier this year where the Nvidia Wed Drivers certificate expired (date expired) and a new version with an updated certificate is now required, see the link below.

Thank you for your reply. Is my GPU the only component holding me back from "upgrading" to a higher version of macOS?

Also where do you check to find compatibility with components?
