With RestrictEvents 1.1.6 enabled and revcpu and revcpuname specified in NVRAM, the Processor name in About This Mac does not change. In addition, Software Update does not work. This happens only on my AM5 system (Asus X670E Gene) running Tahoe Beta #1.

Has anyone encountered this issue on their AM5 system?

Do you have the corresponding revcpuname and revcpu entries in the NVRAM > Delete section?

you are missing revpatch=auto, sbvmm. if you want to use OTA then you need to remove auto world out otherwise it will break the OTA update.

Yes, those entries are in both (a) NVRAM -> Add, and (b) NVRAM -> Delete.

I should have mentioned that revpatch boot argument is already present:

After updating OpenCore and all kexts to officially released versions, Processor Name is appearing correctly in Tahoe on the Asus X670E Gene!! Official release happened 3 days ago.
