I just downgraded by bios to F8 (november 2023, with no Ryzen 8000 support) and the sonoma install issue persists :-(
I guess there is something very wrong with this gigabyte bios...
I will try that, thanks. Not sure how to downgrade a bios, but I will search info about it.
Is there a tutorial that might help in creating these patches? In the future I may need to use a newer BIOS.
As this BIOS I'm using supports the new AM5 Ryzen 8000 CPUs... I think this thread must be related:

But I have no idea on how to...
Hi all!
I have this build working fine for macOS Ventura (using the latest version 13.6.5)
Gigabyte B650M Aorus PRO AX (rev. 1.0) - bios F22b
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-core 24-thread processor
TBD Radeon RX 6xxx GPU ( I had to return the 6800XT because it was crashing in games and rebooting in...
I'm not sure what is going on, but I tried something different, it usually takes like 30s to 45s for my Ryzentosh to sleep (on windows it's almost instantaneous). So I stayed longer observing it and saw that it never slept. So I tried to make it sleep again and it slept. Now it's working for 3...
Checking the shutdown reason:
❯ log show --predicate 'eventMessage contains "Previous shutdown cause"' --last 24h
Checking this website, not sure if it's the best reference, it says it's a "normal shutdown"... and the time coincides with the time a tried to wake it from sleep... really odd...
Updates:
============
22 March 2024
============
OS: Ventura 13.6.5
Opencore: 0.9.7
My build is not stable in sleep mode. Sometimes it just powers off and this week it's rebooting. Not sure what happened, maybe it's the latest Ventura 13.6.5 I updated to.
I just updated my BIOS to F22b, not...
Good to hear that!
I have not moved to Sonoma yet, still in Ventura... I don't like the idea of disabling protections to use the native wifi/bt. But you never know, maybe later this year...
Let me know if you need my version as well, I am using 0.9.5, still need to update to the latest one.
I am not installing sonoma very soon due to the same issue leesurone talked about: the fenvi wifi...
Hi! Sorry for taking too long to enter here.
I'm glad it helped. This is the work of everyone here.
By the way, I still have to update my bios to the latest one, there are releasing lots of bios these last weeks. The last one is F7a...
I did the same thing.
Well, I guess I'll have to repeat it.
With my mapping, the Fenvi T919 wasn't working (the bluetooth part, the wifi was ok), but with yours it worked fine :-)
Hi @Kubokun , thanks for posting - it's helping me a lot, even with a different MB: I have the B650M Aorus Pro AX.
It worked almost perfectly here, just the two front usb ports 3.0 are not working.
Which procedure you used to map your usb ports? thanks a lot!
Here you go. By the way, the tool is running really slow... not sure why.
By the way, I believe the usb mapping I did is not working well, as the Fenvi FV-T919's bluetooth is not working. I connected the cable to usb header (it shows on linux's lsusb):
Wifi is working fine.
Yes... tha't s the only one activated, actually there is only that entry in my current config.plist:
It matches one of the EFI's you sent me a few pages ago:
I believe you are right, because today I had one reboot in the beginning of the apple boot messages (just after opencore). I can't read anything, super fast reboot.
