Your thinking Zen2 again Buddy,
Zen 3 can push to 1900 on the FCLK for most and the lucky few can get to 2000mhz 1,1
I run my 5900X at 1900mhz and 3800 on the memory 1,1.
That’s unknown until the full installer is available probably tomorrow or the day after but we have never had to go through a process like this until now so I’m not to sure tbh. It will get fixed no doubts there but it might take some time for the OC devs to get to the bottom of it. For now...
We are working on it now on the discord.
the update is causing trouble but we have sussed out how to make it work now but it’s a bit of a process.
give it a day or so while the problem gets worked on.
if you really want to update now though you can but you need to put the EFI on a usb installer...
He no longer has a motherboard using the I1225 controller so he has no means or reason to work on the kext anymore. Plus SmallTree on Linux that the kext was based on dropped support on the Linux end when Big Sur came out
Personally I wouldn’t go with either.
The 3 top picks of 280 AIOs in my opinion are the
EK-AIO 280 D-RGB,
Arctic Liquid Freezer ii 280,
NZXT Kraken Z63,
If I had two pick out of the two you have chosen then I would go with the WaterForce.
ERP Enabled will cause the system to restart instead of shutting down on gigabyte boards due to the S5 State it uses.
You can create a SSDT to correct the problem or just Disable ERP in the bios.

No matter how quick your RAM is rated togo it doesn't mean you can hit those rated speeds as there are many factors at play when it comes to running memory 1 - 1 with the CPUs FLCK.
3800mhz and 1900mhz on the FLCK is around the above average maximum for a Ryzen 5000 series to hit before the CPU...
@WRXSTIL1KE Here's the correct USB Mapping for your X570 DarkHero.
Use the EFI from my Thread and replace the USBMap.kext with this one, Create new SMBIOS Details and away you go.
The EFI, Instructions and Bios setting plus any additional help needed can be found here...
Nice one, Your good togo now.
You can literally grab my X570-E EFI from my thread and use it with just single change needed.
All that differs is the USBMap.kext and as it happens I already have the correct USB Mapping for your X570 DarkHero.
Other then that though all my hints and tips and bios...
The front USB-C port on the X570-E is 3.2 gen 2 but not 2x2 obviously but that works fine so maybe it will work but just run at gen 2 speeds instead. Be intreating to find out either way.
Yeah that looks like different mapping will be needed.
that’s a minor though.
Use USBToolBox in windows to map your ports very simply.

The Audio Codec might be different to (probably not) but that should be it.
That’s unknown I’m afraid as nobody i know of has tried one yet but looking at the layout the only real difference is the passive cooling so in theory it should work exactly the same as the standard master config wise.
its a little script that's inside the Utilities folder in OpenCore that will tell you if your Config, plist is in line with the revision you are trying to use it with.
Its a much better idea to use the Config.plist I supply with new EFIs and put your info back into it otherwise you may miss...
I see what the problem is :)
You can't carry across the Config.plist from one revision to the other without using OC Validate first.
as in this instance,
This
In 0.7.3 is now like this
You were also missing the flavours section in tools.
Here you go, Try now. ;)
Im booted now directly off the Thread 0.7.3 EFI and OpenCanopy is fine and it booted just fine too. Something weird is going on with your setup over there bud.
