AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

Cor Blimey, I’ve not used RAID on anything but a server in years and years and years so I have no idea about using it in MacOS. I personally can’t see the point of using RAID0 on NVMe drives so I’ve never attempted it. Sorry :(

If you use the EFI from my ASUS X570-E thread your be 95% of the way there. The only thing that’s different is the USB mapping and. i actually have the correct USBMap.kext for your motherboard. Just ask me when you want to get it up and running and il send it your way. 👍...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

No problems like that here. 5900X idol around 30c max temp 72c under full load (pbo manually tuned). Min Freq is the same as windows and my max freq is ever so slightly lower in MacOS and when I say slightly I mean exactly that (17w difference) but to me that’s totally normal. Nothing out of the...

    macOS Monterey Patches Released

Actually the problem is your motherboard, You need to roll back the firmware until you find a working version that lets Monterey install. There is a problem with MSI motherboards and any version of Monterey past Beta 3. As you are not using a 5000 series CPU you can fix it by doing the above.

AudioGod's Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro, Pro Wifi, Ultra & Master - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

Yep it’s a straight update. The EFI is ready to roll with either Big Sur or Monterey. The only thing is you will loose the SmallTree kext so the 1gb ethernet port will stop working but just use the 2.5gb port instead.

    MacPro7,1 = ASRock X570 ITX/TB3, 5900X, RX-570: chasing sleep/wake stability

I’ve tried Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, Disney Plus and they all work with no DRM arguments and WEG disabled but mind you I’m using a 6800 and a 6900 XT before that so I can’t speak for Polaris or Navi GPUs, Should be the same deal though using a Navi.

AudioGod's Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro, Pro Wifi, Ultra & Master - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

An ok then yes redo your mapping. The one In this EFI was done on a X570 Pro and then verified as exactly the same map for a X570 Ultra. The X570 Master Mapping is slightly different but I would of thought the map I’m using is a 99% match as Gigabyte are lazy like that….lol If your not using any...

    MacPro7,1 = ASRock X570 ITX/TB3, 5900X, RX-570: chasing sleep/wake stability

i used to use WEG forever up until I got my RX 6800 and never had any sleep issues using the DRM boot argument so theres a flaw in your thinking over it. It’s a ASRock thing as there’s to many user cases of sleep being a problem on ASRock boards. By the way if your not using WEG then DRM should...

I am new need some guideline

1660 Ti is the problem, it’s not compatible with big sur or any other version of MacOS I’m afraid. https://dortania.github.io/Anti-Hackintosh-Buyers-Guide/GPU.html Ive never heard of your motherboard either. What’s a SchenkerTechnologiesGmbH NH5xAx? 😂

I just plugged in a Blue Yeti Pro and was using a USB Condenser Mic on Friday for over a half a day and didn’t and still haven’t come across any distortion on input. What mic is it and are you getting the same result on all usb inputs?

AudioGod's Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro, Pro Wifi, Ultra & Master - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

The EFI like the heading of post states is for Big Sur and Monterey. Make sure you use all the latest versions of any kexts you are adding and use agdpmod=ignore not pikera. These boot arguments are WEG related not OpenCore and will always be needed with WEG and a Navi, big Navi GPU. What you...
