You also may or may not need to setup MMIO with DevirtualiseMmio. More reasons for halting there are here, https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/troubleshooting/extended/kernel-issues.html#stuck-on-eb-log-exitbs-start
Extra/Extensions only works with Enoch if you've enabled the kernel booter option in the pkg installer when you installed Enoch. Encoh/Chameleon doesn't use drivers and it doesn't support APFS.
SSE4.1 in the OPEMU was very bare minimum. You'd need to install an OS that didn't require it. If you want macOS on that hardware your best option is a VM.
Change your OC to debug and enable the Misc -> Debug = Target to 67. You need to have DevirtualiseMmio enabled for this. It won't boot but you need the log from this as it contains the MMIO devirt.
You can see more info here from @fabiosun...
Hello Everyone. I've updated the board and style to the latest versions. If you come across anything out of place please send me a private message.
Thanks,
Shane
For a VM you need to use VoodooHDA for audio. However VoodooHDA can't be injected. See here how to add it, https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/314406-voodoohda-302/page/20/#comment-2756841
What version of DP is the monitor? Does the cable match? I've seen it before when the DP cable is an older spec version and won't work on a newer DP revision.
Welcome. I like to think that becuase of the OpenCore Kernel Patches, AMD systems are just as easy as Intel now :D Actually had to work harder to get my Intel laptop to work lol
It's AMD WiFi so that most likely means MediaTek which isn't supported in macOS. If you wanted WiFi you'd need to swap it for a supported broadcom card and run OCLP to get continuity features.
As for Virtualisation, it's sketchy on macOS. Older versions of VirtualBox is all that'll run really...
You'll need more than just patched Web Drivers to get the GPU functioning on Sequoia though. Look at what OCLP does. There's frameworks that need back ported etc...
Linux shows those ports as Thunderbolt... May be worth tagging @CaseySJ here ;) Have you any experience of this device ID in your Thunderbolt travels?
Model: "ASMedia USB Controller"
Vendor: pci 0x1b21 "ASMedia Technology Inc."
Device: pci 0x2425
SubVendor: pci 0x1b21 "ASMedia Technology Inc."...
Give this a go. Patches, OC and kexts updated. AirportItlwm swapped with Itlwm. You'll need to use Heliport to connect to WiFi - https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/HeliPort
