Haven't even got my new case or the 7950x yet!
Anyway this is the case I ordered.
I used the same case for my intel based hack but thats still in uk.
I had hoped to get a dune case, but that turned out to be a scam.
I'm probably going to go with a Noctua NH-U12A for now. I'll look to undervolt the 7950x as apparently that can reduce temps and keep the clocks high.
Also some mobo's have the option of having 85c instead of 95c as the target temp. From what I've seen it actually improved performance over a 95c...
Holding off on a mobo for now. Not sure which will be compatible if any. The MSI turbo switch thing looks interesting. Combines PBO with manual overclocking.
I'm looking to get a 7950x for video editing, but it depends on hack compatibility though.
What I heard is all 7000 series apparently include integrated graphics, they apparently are said to be underpowered of course.
Yeh same Rhys.
I think the issue is how stringent their rules are. i.e. you make a post you genuinely think is an interesting AMD hack and.. banned because of a crappy rule, no warnings or discretion etc. just ban.
Personally I just don't like that kind of heavy handed censorship and control...
Not sure why folks even give a crap about TM. I mentioned an AMD build I was working on once Opencore supported AMD's and they freaking banned me. Hence why I registered here. Their site seems pretty much dead these days anyway.
