In that case, I think I already have the correct values (based on @CaseySJ 's EFI and credits to him). It does work; I've installed Sonoma on a separate SSD with success (without WiFi (fenvi), but I think that is being worked on with the itlwm solution).

For my learning purposes, can you tell me where I can find information on MinKernel MaxKernel in OpenCore? I can't find it in their documentation and in the Dortania manuals. I'm not sure if my values are correct for Sonoma. And can you guide me to the GitHub page you're referring to? Much...

I recommend to go through opencore’s documentation first to understand in general what the efi consists of. Build your first efi as such, then come back with specific questions and provide how you tried to solve it already...

Also if I will install this on a separate ssd and dual boot with my existing Monterey?

Do we also need to use a new serial etc? Or can we use the one of our existing efi?

Thanks! It was just a water, sorry for the disappointment :D. About the LED, I think the reflection of the glass make it looks odd in a way. Here a picture of the internals. The only thing that changed recently was an extra fan with RGB on the left.

Updating all kexts worked for me, I too got the kernel panic. Try it by downloading the latest commitments here: https://dortania.github.io/builds/

GibMacOS hasn't been updated yet with beta 3, right? I'm not seeing it. I'm having difficulties to install b3 over b2, it keeps rebooting whatever I do. So I need to create a USB with b3 :-)

That seems not very efficient to do. Just make sure you have a usb stick with Ventura loaded in it, and have your efi loaded on it also.

If I update OpenCore 0.8.2 to the latest build (committed here), how do I make sure that (as per Dortania instructions) I have the associated OpenCanopy file? Edit: never mind, it's part of the open core package... I was looking in the wrong folder. :censored::geek:

Works just fine on beta 2. I must say, it's pretty darn stable. I haven't faced issues leading to force quit etc.
