I think I inserted it properly in config.plist. I'm positive I did. Cleaned up now. And I'll test that out right now. Kinda weird. It never had this shutdown issue before which is definitely weird. When you helped me install it initially, it worked out just fine so I'm definitely thrown off.

I think it may have been successful? It detects my sandisk cruzer fit storage on the 3.1 slot near the network. Gonna test shutdown right now. update: shutdown still restarting computer. this is incredibly weird.

I took out any extra USBs and still got the same result. I cleared the NVRam, but didn't rebuild cache. I haven't checked the power settings either. And yeah, Aorus x570 elite.

It's been F11 for quite awhile. Didn't do any tinkering. I didn't use it for a couple days and it just happened. It boots up no problem now, but shutdown doesn't work? It restarts, never shutdown. Which is weird. Didn't install anything new or anything either.

Hey @AudioGod, out of nowhere, no updates, no tinkering with EFI or anything like that, I've started running into this kernel panic/not being able to boot problem. Any clue? When I restart my computer and do the BIOS settings all over, it seems to fix the issue and I can boot with no problem...

AudioGod, I have everything running and updated...This is truly amazing. USB-C works perfectly and it finally detects it after a long time of being a cosmetic piece.... You are the best dude.

I took out the usbmap.kext and edited it off the plist. that was about it. I'm not gonna lie, even with videos, tutorials, and help, I'm definitely an idiot when it comes to stuff like this on the hackintosh in general. Don't know if it helps, But I have: Ryzen 5 3600X Aorus x570 elite...
