I noticed my Broadcom card caps out at 280 in MacOS and 450 in Windows and Linux. I get plugged to the router access point with 1GB Ethernet around 960.
I have been trying to figure out why MacOS is slower form almost half a year.
The Intel cards work for a while but mine crashed constantly and Bluetooth did not work at all.
The WiFi has Bluetooth are built in to the card, so by swapping to the card model that Apple uses it fixes both and there are no stability issues.
Sorry for the late reply. Is your mouse wireless? If you have a wireless mouse with a dongle and other wireless peripheral using 3.0 there seems to be an interference issue between the devices.
When my Razer Balistix mouse and my Razer Nari Ultimate headset (both wireless with dongles) were...
Sorry, I am confused are you using the Intel WiFi/ Bluetooth or the Broadcom?
The Intel does not have good support and stability. While the Broadcom for me has worked flawlessly.
You will be to go to the OpenCore guide and ensure you have a compatible GPU. Then install the EFI and set the platform info for iServices to work.
The Nvidia RTX 3000 and 2000 series GPUs will not work.
I ended up just updating my own EFI after realizing the SerialInt had to be removed from the config.plist.
I did not include AppleMCEReporterDisabler. I was able to update to 12.4 beta 2 without issue.
I was just in the process of updating Opencore and ran into the "No schema for ForceAquantiaEthernet at 10 index, context <Quirks>! Serialisation returns 1 error!" Everything works other than that. But since your EFI is ready to go with all the changes I will just use it.
Thank you for the...
I jumped the gun and updated 0.7.8 when the release first came out and a weird fan and pump disconnect issue with the PWM headers. As my rig is completely liquid cooled this was a huge problem and caused a thermal shutdown.
After the experience with it is now only the official release for...
I saw a commit from 3 day ago and knew they working on it. I am fairly new to OpenCore so was kind of thinking they did a big overhaul every so often.
Thanks for the update
I have never had any issues with the Kext themselves or the associated Kext for displaying the thermals in third-party software like iStat Menu. The issue seems isolated to the AMD Power Gadget app. I also experienced weird sleep problems with the pump and fans when the app was open.
Anyone else having fan and pump disconnect issues when using the AMD Power Gadget?
After upgrading my loop and then adding in my GPU, I was using the AMD Power Gadget fan controls to speed up the pump to get some of the ancillary air trapped in the loop out.
On both occasions the fans (CPU and...
