This EFI only works for doing a new install of Venture. Upgrading from Monterey fails to properly install.
Updating Ventura from Beta 1 to Beta 2 works...
ReFind is located in the EFI. You would need to remove it from the EFI folder. The boot picker in the EFIs provided should automatically show after that.
The power fix in the post install guide will more than likely not work. DummbPowerMangment has to be disabled for Ventura to boot. Therefore, sleep/wake does not work properly. Hopefully it will be resolved as 0.8.2 pre release evolves.

Right now I am out of state in rural Montana visiting. At this time I only have my Mac laptop and limited time while traveling.

The only way currently to resolve the sleep/ wake issue is to disable putting the computer to sleep in Ventura.
This is a negative consequence that results from disabling DummyPowerManagment in the EFI to get Ventura to boot.
For me this was not an issue as I leave my computer on all the time...
There seems to be a lot of variation for what works installing Ventura and what does not. I could never get the upgrade to work. Hopefully the next OpenCore release irons things out for installing and upgrading.
Did you do a new install with the volume formatted as APFS and reset the NVRAM?
Make sure to remove NVRAM -> Add-> 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 -> boot-args -> agdpmod=ignore from the boot arguments.
