    Thanks guys! Sounds good!

    TRX40/THREADRIPPER 3000 RYZENTOSH WITH THUNDERBOLT 3 IN QEMU/VM?

I think word on the street is that ASRock got bullied by Intel with TRX40 because of Thunderbolt just like Gigabyte was with Rev. 1.0 X570. Even though Thunderbolt is royalty-free now Intel is still using their clout to keep TB support on their platforms. That's why Rev. 1.0 GB X570 boards had...

SNAZZY LABS RYZENSHINE BUILD WITH ASROCK X570 CREATOR PT 2.

Yeah you’re right we should keep this thread clean. Maybe @iGPU could open another thread in the success stories to detail his X570 Aorus Master or so where we can talk about other Thunderbolt development. I personally opened a thread (in Chit Chat) about the MSI X570 Tomahawk having TB3 support...

SNAZZY LABS RYZENSHINE BUILD WITH ASROCK X570 CREATOR PT 2.

Dude that is awesome! I am planning on doing a Ryzentosh soon, but other priorities are holding me back right now. Are you going to try other VM applications too? I understand that Proxmox gives you near-native speeds, but will something like QEMU also do it? E. g. the tutorial from the...

New B550 motherboards! (ALL with Thunderbolt!)

Hey there, I just saw the announcement of the new B550 motherboards where the AIBs showed off their flagships which were decked with awesome features. What I also noticed is that the Gigabyte and ASRock models are sporting TB3 headers! This is really exciting as there are now budget-friendly...

    Handoff, AirDrop with Apple ID

That I don't know, let the other friendly people on this forum help you. If you're planning on buying these components, then I'd go with a different motherboard, such as the TUF X570-Plus or the X570 Tomahawk, if you can wait a little bit. The ASRock boards prior to X570 aren't really the best...

    Handoff, AirDrop with Apple ID

Are you planning on buying these components or do you already have them? With that Fenvi T919 you can gain access to all those wireless features without needing extra drivers as those are based upon Airport cards. And yeah you can use a Hackintosh with your Apple ID. 🙂

    Better late than never

Hello together, I am planning to build a Ryzentosh next month and want to support the community. I am also a big supporter of the group who wants to get Thunderbolt working properly on Ryzen and have posted a few threads with questions about them. But I hope I can be a big help here in the...

New AMD OS X tutorial for VMs (QEMU/ProxMox etc.)?

Hey there, As the community is growing so rapidly as more users adopt Ryzen, there are some people who own Zen 2 Threadrippers and also would like to use OS X. As there are no native kernel patches out (currently), and the only answer is to run OS X in a Virtual Machine, could you guys post an...

SNAZZY LABS RYZENSHINE BUILD WITH ASROCK X570 CREATOR PT 2.

Does that mean that your X570 Master has Hot-Plug working too? Or am I dreaming?

SNAZZY LABS RYZENSHINE BUILD WITH ASROCK X570 CREATOR PT 2.

Hey there would you be so kind as to move this thread to the Success Stories as some people won't find it here? Otherwise it isn't that visible.

    TRX40/THREADRIPPER 3000 RYZENTOSH WITH THUNDERBOLT 3 IN QEMU/VM?

Well if someone can get a Gigabyte TRX40 mobo with a TB3 card working in a OS X VM (or natively!) I'd be delighted to know!

AMD ryzen built - first Hackintosh build - need help

I think you'll be just fine going with one M.2 SSD to partition and put both OSes onto it. Just take the money you save and get a better motherboard (the one in the list is overpriced because it's out of stock except for Amazon) and downgrade to the 3600 and get a better CPU cooler. But...

    Golden motherboard, anything out there?

That was @iGPU who had that happen but until now Thunderbolt on the X570 Creator has been working without Hot-Plug, so you need to see if it will work at all @willio but it's worth giving it a try if you follow the thread well. Oh yeah btw I see you want to use two M.2 SSDs to put OSes on...

    TRX40/THREADRIPPER 3000 RYZENTOSH WITH THUNDERBOLT 3 IN QEMU/VM?

Yeah that's good to know that it works in general but she used an ASRock TRX40 Creator which sadly doesn't have any Thunderbolt support. I just wanted to know if one could pass through a Titan Ridge AIC on an e. g. Gigabyte TRX40 Designare and get it working just like any normal PCIe card...

MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk with Thunderbolt 3?

Thank you @Shanee, I've even posted about my TB3 enquiries in that thread, but nobody has really provided any insight to other Thunderbolt options auch as Gigabyte (e. g. Rev. 1.1 boards having TB header), the main contributors @CaseySJ and @iGPU haven't really said much in the last months. That...

MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk with Thunderbolt 3?

Hey there, I was looking through the specs of the newly released MSI X570 Tomahawk motherboard and noticed it has a 5-pin TB3 header with an Intel RTD3 header. In the manual of it it said TB3 would only work with RTD3. Does anybody know what that means? I really think this motherboard has the...

    TRX40/THREADRIPPER 3000 RYZENTOSH WITH THUNDERBOLT 3 IN QEMU/VM?

This was an old post I wrote on the old forum which didn't gain any traction though, don't know why: Hey there, I was thinking a lot about Threadripper Hackintoshes and the inability of the Zen 2 TRs of running OS X (for now), and it came to me: Could you run OS X in a VM (be it Linux with...
