Updated to OC 0.7.4 and macOS 12 beta 8.

For macOS as far as the 6000 series only the 6800 and 6900 cards are supported. I have no problems gaming with my 5600xt in windows though. Hopefully you can find something at a reasonable price......

What boot file are you referring to?

Updated to OC 0.7.2 and installed new patches in my config.plist, Installed 12.0 Beta 4 with no issues! Everything seems to be working fine so far.

What method did you use to make your installer? Did you try all the USB ports? I know on my A520 not all the ports worked at first, I had to do some more work after install.

Haven't ran clover in years, but I have the similar MB up and running with Open Core.

Boot into verbose mode ( Add -v to boot-args) and post a screen shot of where it's getting stuck.

The 3600 is a very good CPU, the only reason I upgraded my hack was the two additional cores make a big improvement in Handbrake.

I'm out of ideas, wish I could of been of more help. We seem to be missing something simple I bet. If you boot in verbose mode can we see what it is hanging on?

You should be able to use the 3600 with the B450, what cpu do you have now?

One way to test is to try booting linux on it, it's free to try. I use mint 2.0.

I think it might be a bad MB, if OC errors it will write that to the screen. The fact that it stops at the bios logo means that OC isn't even loading I think. Your installers, whether Catalina or Big Sur only come into play after OC loads.

My A520 is in a mid tower case from cyberpowerpc. The A520 will fit in the G4, but keeping it cool is hard. That could very well be the source of the problem! I would try flashing the bios to the latest one. I'm using F13f, I haven't tried F13h yet.
