Fenvi T919 Bluetooth Disabled on Monterey

My motherboard doesn't have a PCIx1 slot. So I have the Fenvi T919 seated in the last x4 slot. when I seat the card in such a way that I can screw the backplate properly, Wifi is not recognized. (this may be also true of BT, but its been so long since I have troubleshooted this, that I don't...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

I’m honored that you would use my EFI. I don’t remember uploading an EFI to this site, but I’ve been here over 2 months. It’s possible. I also added an SSDT for my 6900XT, which I hope you removed from the ACPI folder. Also, my processor core count is for a 5950X. Is that what you are...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

I hear you. Somewhere on page 50 of this thread I learned that in order to have handoff, continuity and unlock by Apple Watch to work, Bluetooth and Wi-FI had to be Broadcom based. My personal preference would have been to get all of the onboard stuff working, particularly since it was Wi-Fi...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

At some point I had both the onboard Wi-Fi and the Fenvi active in Windows 11 and noticed that the lowly wifi 5 Fenvi was connecting to my ASUS router at 1300 Megabits while the onboard Wi-Fi 6E was connecting at 900 Megabits. So I just disabled the onboard wifi and use the Fenvi for both OSs...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

I have no such skills. However, I have made substantial progress using basic trail and error. I unplugged the HDMI splitter that I use spoof my aging AVR into thinking it is receiving a 1080P video signal along with the Audio. SHARC is now sending all the Audio to my AVR and the Hackitosh...

So I ended up ordering the wrong kind of thunderbolt to HDMI dongle.. I needed a female HDMI dongle and accidentally ordered a male. since my OLED is already hanging on the wall, reaching a free HDMI port to plug in the male HDMI cable is kind of a pain... BUT... Last week, when I was looking...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

Nice card! Did you have to patch the sapphire nitro+ at all to get it to work? I had to patch my Power Color 6900 XT to get hardware acceleration/metal to work but it was easy. I can’t imagine that the card is somehow overheating after a few seconds of OS X, because it works perfectly with...

what graphics card are you using? One thing I haven't tried is resetting NVRAM also I updated to 12.5 using software update. It worked fine. and again on my old 22 inch IPS monitor everything was working fine. (the IPS monitor is connected via HDMI with a HDMI to DVI converter dongle.

so I have some news, and it's not great... given that I have thunderbolt (mostly) working (except for hot-plug) I thought I'd move my hackintosh from my test bench where I have been tinkering with it for the past 2 months to it's semi permeant home next to the TV in my living room. I have a 77...

here's what happens when my enclosure is connected to the front panel USB-C header: and here is what happens when you connect the same enclosure to a real 2017 iMacPro with thunderbolt: for review... it's pretty similar to what happens if I plug it into the Thunderbolt port of my...

AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

Yes I know, which is why I believe thunderbolt is actually working on my system. I usually don’t care about purely cosmetic stuff working perfectly on a hackintosh — things like internal drives looking like external drives and vice versa — but my enclosure is not showing up in System Profiler...

Wait until you see the usb-c 3.2 gen 1 speeds with the same enclosure… (They are atrocious… but I’m having trouble posting further images to this thread..) Let’s see what tomorrow will bring..

a further update... thunderbolt works... very well. but not hot plug. that's my next challenge. I borrowed one of the SSDTs from HackinDROM that was made for the ASUS Z490 Creator and wouldn't you know it, it works very well. here are some Black Magic disk speed screen shots for your viewing...

an update.. after a bit of trial and error, it turns out that the BT portion of the Fenvi T919 was being finicky b/c of the BlueToolFixup.kext. I had originally blamed my poor usb port mapping abilities on why the BT didn't work properly, but it seems like the BlueToolFixup.kext was...

The fenvi T919 does have BT built in but there is something very weird going on with my Mobo's USB mapping and when I 1st tried to use it, it would not be recognized. here's a screenshot of my most recent usb map in hackintool: I remind you that my mobo is the AUS X570 Creator, not the...

Turns out the ASUS BT-400 won't work without BluetoolFixUp.kext -- very strange. one of these days i'm going to remove this Asus BT400 USB dongle and reconnect the USB BT adapter that is included with the Fenvi T919 to the internal USB header.. remove the BluetoolFixUp.kext and see where...

found it. not its sure its the latest. but it works. or at least i get a GPU temp reading on my status bar. adding the 2 kexts to my OC and snapshotting it didn't brick my system. I am therefore eternally grateful. moving on to my next order of business. I need some help cleaning up my kext...
