    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Will do this tonight. hopefully OC 0.87 will be out by then so I can start with the latest and greatest. I may send you my config.plist to add the Aquantia patches. i'm super bummed about the x16 slot on my X670E Creator. as an update, and a reversal of the accepted social order, the Fenvi...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

It does not work in Windows in the top slot. only works in windows in the second x8 slot. no visible signs of damage. but I can't think of anything else causing this issue. I will test later tonight / this week with a second video card a friend is bringing over and revert The EFI I am using...

I may have damaged the top x16 slot while building this machine b/c try as I might I can't get my 6650XT to show any picture when plugged into the top x16 slot. on a whim I tried...

Can someone screenshot their config.plist in propertree so I can see the exactly what the kernal patches look like so I can copy them manually and make sure they are inputed correctly? otherwise a AML plist file with the included 6 patches would be most helpful. sorry i'm a noob. this is all...

OMG yes. that was a typo. I was asking about AM5. I may have to use the TB SSDT from my X570 Creator EFI to my X670 Creator EFI I don't really NEED 40 megabit per second transfer speeds, but.. it is nice to have, no?

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Noob Question for today: does USB4/ThunderBolt work on the AM4. AM5 platform without patching? I note that the ACPI folder for all the EFIs I have from 7000 systems do not have any TB related SSDTs. are these no longer necessary? as much as hot plug would be nice, I have super-fast speeds...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

I think I have both copies of the SSDT saved somewhere but IIRC I used the one from the thread that I linked to. I will say, it's tough crowd in here.. everyone's a critic! A month ago in the discord I was telling people how I had to use a special SSDT to get my PowerColor RDU 6900XT to work...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

You guys are geniuses! this is being done on my X570/5950X running Ventura so I apologize for cross posting on this 7000 testing thread and the necesary steps for Monterey may be different so YMMV, BUT.. I used an SSDT found in this thread and added AppleIntel210Ethernet.kext to my OC as...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

So I finally booted from a USB stick using the RELEASE-Mode EFI, on my X570 Creator/5950X build and I don't know if I did it right b/c at the bootloader I simply chose my working MacOS install and everything seemed to be working normally. I listened to several minutes of Spotify and it sounded...
