I don’t accept payment’s for helping people, but you can attach your EFI for us to take a look at. Just remove SMBIOS info, (serials etc) and attach it here.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

Hi @ExtremeXT, I wondered if you would take a peak at my bad EFI for a Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI paired with a Ryzen 7 4700G. I haven't tried the AmdTscSync.kext before, but I'm sure that's not the reason for black screen after verbose. I created that random pile of SSDTs in SSDTTime on Windows...

NootedRed gives black screen (as if display is turned off) on macOS Ventura 13.4.1

Please attach your zipped EFI with SMBIOS removed so we can investigate, @Middleman might be interested in this.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

@Steve901 good job, what did you do to get it to boot?. Interesting that in Big Sur System Information, Graphics and Displays says your 4600G is Cezanne.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

@Steve901 the EFI I attached in the last post is giving me a black screen after verbose. I switched the 4700G to a Gigabyte B450M DS3H WI-FI to test.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

ProcessorType was zero, I changed it to 1537 for a APU that has 6 cores or less, it's 3841 for 8 cores or more. I also updated the patches which were out of date. Might want to change your SMBIOS info.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

Don't forget to add the SSDT-CPUR, it's not in my EFI you'll need it for the 450 but not the 320. https://github.com/dortania/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/blob/master/extra-files/compiled/SSDT-CPUR.aml

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

You’re very welcome Steve, glad you got it working. I have experienced the boot loops before yes, interesting that you say disable NRed to install. I clean installed Ventura with NRed enabled but didn’t experience any issues, did it first time. Steve attach your EFI so we can look at it. Did...

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

I agree, The finder and desktop look really sweet and the animations look smooth through transitions. Could it be that the older games struggle because they haven’t been translated through Apples game translator. No Man’s Sky performs really well on a APU, but older games Dirt 4, Dirt Rally for...

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

I upgraded my APU from a Ryzen 5 4600G to a Ryzen 7 4700G, one extra Radeon GPU core, now at 2.1 GHz. Also 2 extra CPU cores btw, but we just care about the GPU. Not even a 1% gain in single core according to GeekBench 6, but multi core saw a 12% gain. What was a nice surprise was being the only...

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

Using Metal HUD in No Mans Sky is probably the best way for me to test how good the Radeon Graphics really are. The best performance I can get with Enhanced Graphics settings in game is 59 FPS!, ok it's in a space station, but there's still NPCs and other ships landing and taking off. On world...

Not yet. My monitor doesn’t have speakers so I can’t test that way yet.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

New NRed Master up!, the 'Guard ' _psp_cmd_km_submit' route', commit 45e5c05. say that 10 times in a row really fast. Will test later.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

It’s difficult to convey how good Sonoma looks on a 4600G without the help of videos that demonstrate the smoothness of the Radeon Graphics. This is nice example below of me dragging a widget around thanks to Sonomas new ability!.

NootedRed not working with Atari VCS

@Edhawk we're going to experiment with 8GB and 16GB and see where the App quitting starts, I think you'll be interested in 'Activity Monitors' take on the matter. @Middleman I'm so pleased for you that you finally have full acceleration on the VCS, it's been such a journey for you and to finally...
