So I've been using an -amazing- 3700x ryzentosh build (Asus TUF x570 board, rx 5700xt GPU) forever. Decided to build my wife a machine with the old 3700x and drop in a 5700x3d. Should be fine, right?
Well, the good news: Everything boots and runs great.
