Problems with itlwm in OpenCore 0.6 Catalina [solved]

I’d worked with different EFIs, and in this one I’d forgotten to put ssid and password into the plist inside the kext. Step was to be thorough about my work lol.

Intel 3168 wifi/bluetooth card. Which kext?

It doesn't seem like that card is an option right now. A random 4.0 Broadcom USB adapter works just fine.

Intel 3168 wifi/bluetooth card. Which kext?

I am trying to enable Bluetooth on my Intel 3168 card. I have wifi enabled and load heliport to show wifi connections. Bootloader isn't loading IntelBluetooth though. I can understand why, since my card is flagged 0x8086 and the kext seemingly supports 0x8087 cards only. But what to do then?

Wifi issue solved, and I just loaded Heliport. Problem solved.

Problems with itlwm in OpenCore 0.6 Catalina [solved]

Thinking of combining itlwm with Black80211 to have the wifi up and running. Speed isn't crucial at this point, but airdrop and the likes would be nice to have.

Problems with itlwm in OpenCore 0.6 Catalina [solved]

First issue is with the wifi. I have an Intel 3168 wifi card which is notoriously difficult with OSX. Should be able to work as a cabled connection though. Bootloader doesn't recognise itlwmx - it does with itlwm, but the EN1 is inactive in network cards in Catalina. Perhaps it has something to...

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

I found a fix, wrote it into the config.plist and it worked. Thank you though. Having a bit of trouble with the itlwm though. Itlwmx didn't load during boot, and itlwm seemingly does but has to be fixed for it to work in OSX it seems. |edit| Also, my keyboard layout isn't working as it should...

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

I got in. Now for some issues. itlwmx doesn't load - I'll try itlwm instead. Also, my NVMe is showing as an external disk, and I would like to mount it internally. I cannot find the pci address through Hackintool though.

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

Hm, and now the next issue has arisen. "You may not install to this volume because the computer is missing a firmware partition". I've tried two different EFI folders. The one you shared without NVMeFix and AppleMCEReporterDisabler kexts, and the other with those two in the build. Both have my...

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

I have spent all my spare time in this week fiddling with this, and it was only now that you asked me to take out the NVMe that it struck me... the bios switch on the GPU was set at "2" - the OC bios. I'm at the install screen @Shaneee. Massive facepalm to me and thanks for your time!

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

Just took out the NVMe, and it still stops at that exact same spot. I think it's the graphics card. I reformatted the usb the other day and have already replaced my EFI with the one you made @Shaneee

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

I can try disconnecting the nvme. Do you think it might not be compatible?

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

It didn't work. Still stuck when I got up.

Seemingly correct build, but bootloader stops |solved|

Thanks for your time. Boot still stops at the exact same point though. I'll try and leave it overnight, see what happens.
