Hey @Middleman I really appreciate the effort and the help. I couldn't get this to work either. The reason I am using agdpmod=ignore is I am using the smbios for MacPro7,1. Before updating to 12.6 from 12.5.1 everything was working as it should with my EFI. After running the update I can't even...
I am hoping someone can help me, 'cause I am ready to tear what's left of my hair out. I updated my machine to MacOS 12.6, install went ok but then when trying to boot the system after install I get a reboot right before it loads the UI. I have tried reinstalling with 12.5 and 12.4, both of...
I believe I resolved this now. For those that may run into the same issue, I had added the two data controllers to Device Properties and made them built-in two get rid of the orange drive icons. This had the effect of the controllers being seen as PCI devices instead of SATA devices. Once I...

I am hoping someone can help provide some guidance because I am ready to tear what's left of my hair out. I am having SATA issues after getting everything else setup. I know it isn't the drives, because they work and test fine under windows. My issue is that drives will be connected and mount...
@Galve2000 I tried your EFI, but I had random reboots with it. That said, I also upgraded my previous EFI to 0.8.3 and it also had random reboots. One other interesting thing I ran into using yours was that RestrictEvents didn't display the correct processor in about this Mac. That led me to...
I also went back to 4204, and it has been stable, but I also went back to 0.8.2 and disabled the onboard WiFi and Bluetooth. My current EFI is attached minus the platform info. The only thing not currently working is the 2.5 ethernet. I may try updating my bios and update to OC 0.8.3 later this...
How is the steam deck? I have narrowed it down to being a conflict between the fenvi bluetooth and builtin bluetooth causing the crash. I could just disable the internal but want to use it in windows. Next step is to try the kexts for enabling the onboard WiFi and BT or disable onboard BT in...
Enjoy your cruise and stop responding :) In the meantime I will try disabling any non-required kexts and then re-enable one by one to see if I can figure out anything. Thanks for the insight.
