One thing I don't understand, is why was that file not where it should have been, in my freshly created USB installers EFI partition? Pretty strange. I mean as time goes on, you just disable SecureBoot, install/update MacOS and steal the file from the SSD's folder, then reboot, re-enable...

Unfortunately @Edhawk @Shaneee that boot.efi failed to register in the BIOS :( I did all the others and that one was last, then it failed to register it grrr! So I don't think that's the right file that I renamed? Any ideas guys? I'm so close lol!

Thank you mate, I'll try that. I don't know why the guide didn't mention any of this. I hate that about Github people, they miss out so many parts, yet call it a guide! It's only a 4KB file BTW?

OK, so I've opened that folder, and it's full of loads of files but not that file :( There is loads of files named "boot.efi.j132ap.im4m" etc. But no boot.efi singluar file :(

Forgive me for being a dumbass lol, but I've used MountEFI to mount the USB installers partitions, and showing all files, there is that folder structure, but it's not in there? Am I looking in the wrong partition then?

@Edhawk Weirdly, in that folder, there isn't the file the guide requests? All that's in there, is 'Secureboot.bundle' ? And I've got the hidden files showing?

Mate, where do I get "/usr/standalone/i386/boot.efi" from? It's not in OpenCores files? It's mentioned in that guide? Any ideas where this file comes from @Edhawk @Shaneee

Ah OK, well I'll try it with more ports :) Yep everything up to date, but the SMBIOS is named iMacPro19,1 - so just generate a new one as a MacPro7,1 then it'll work? Is it true that you have to plug in 1 USB 2.0 then 3.0 device in each port, 1 at a time after each 5 second pass? As some guides...

None of that worked mate. Mapped the USB ports selecting only 9 out of 18 that displayed. Made sure I selected the 9 that displayed after swapping in/out USB2/3 devices into each port individually. Removed all the other Kexts and just left: Lilu, VirtualSMC, AppleReporterDisabler, and USBMAP...
