M2_3 is a PCIe 4.0 slot served by B850. M2_1 is a PCIe 5.0 served directly from CPU lanes. So it could be an issue with 5.0 speed. Out of curiosity, have you tried M2_2 (4.0 on CPU lanes)?

PCI initialisation/enumeration could be a suspect. Is the P510 used by macOS? Is it installed in the same slot as before? Are there changes in other PCIe devievices?

The DSDT is needed to investigate ACPI patches, but the patches in this post have been designed against Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming, among other boards, so there's hope they may still work for a ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming. (How do they come up with these crazy names???)

Thanks for your reply. So my patches are not universal, as I hoped. :( Patch #1: looks for If (((G002 != 0x03) && (G000 == One))) and forces creating UP00 and further devices under \_SB.PCI0.GPP7. There are several occurences of this condition. So far the one I was looking to patch was precded...

Clone the GitHub repository and fork it to make your changes… Are you sure you want to rewrite OpenCore rather than defining patches in the config.plist?

A link to specifications would have been nice… I'd say: NO. The 680M iGPU is not supported. If you cannot, or do not want to, add a dGPU, look for a 7x30U.

Namely: Apple has removed AppleHDA, leaving only support for USB audio. So you have to restore AppleHDA to use ALC-based audio.
