Taking much time before picker

Hi, after completing the installation I was able to enable everything including the chime, but it is taking between 15 and 20 seconds before the picker appears, everything seems to be working right, no errors, no alerts, the boot process after picking the hd is about 10 seconds, @Shaneee can you help me ?
BTW... the picker isn't starting automatically either, the timeout is set to 5 seconds

I'd need to look into the OC source as to why. I have the same thing happening.
