System time running out of sync when over/underclocked

I've noticed that my system time is running out of sync quite fast (minutes per hour) when I overclock P0 (3.8 -> 4.0GHz) or underclock P2 (2.2 -> 1.8GHz).

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this besides periodically trigger ntp?
